Leave that apart and you can very well confuse Figo hatchback to the sedan version. Similar modish radiator grille in the front with multiple chrome bars boosts the overall outer look. Again the identical swooping head lights flank front grille, trickle to the lower bumper and you will notice the petite lower grille and fog lamps in higher variants. Side profile is simple yet impressive, it gets body
colour matching outside rear view mirrors, body painted outside door handles, multiple spoke alloy wheels, indicators and subtle character lines. The outside rear view mirrors get integrated turn indicators along with power adjustable and foldable functions. At the back, wrap around tail lights are present, an integrated roof spoiler, fog lights and body coloured bumper pretty much define the rear styling.
As the car is relatively longer as compared to its competitors, the breadth can be seen inside as well. The wheelbase of 2491mm provides ample knee room for the rear passengers. The cabin is spacious with comfortable seats that are very well supported. Every detail on the dashboard resembles that of elder sibling Aspire except the silver and grey colour combination. The lighter colour scheme has also added airiness inside the cabin.
The three-pod instrument cluster not only looks good but also informative and easy to read. Ford Figo Conclusion
Compared to the first generation model, the Figo embodies plethora changes and good news is that these changes have bettered the hatchback. Exterior styling is in line with Aspire, similarities don’t end here even the interiors and engine choices are similar. The automatic option comes with a number of additional features missing in the rest of the line-up. Performance is not as good as one would expect but the other pros in the hatchback are good enough to make do with this void. Interiors are not just stylish but comfortable too in terms of space. With dual front airbags as standard and total six airbags employed for occupants’ safety, Figo has a cusp over rivals. Pricing is affordable which should also work in the vehicle’s favor.
